“—You’re not safe here.”
”You need to leave.”
“I am never safe anywhere Niklaus.”
“Is it absolutely essential for you
to act like a caged animal?”
”I am frightened Elijah! You brought me into witch terrority.
So yes until I know I am not going to be killed outright.”

Don’t forget I have an open starter in this verse.
Muse A is the only child of a King and his late Queen and therefore heir to the kingdom. When Muse A 3 years old her father remarries. His new Queen is beautiful but has a heart of stone. The only thing she is content with her beauty and to make sure that she is always the fairest she has a magic mirror to tell her the truth. This goes on for many years and soon the King dies leaving Muse A to fend for herself against a wicked stepmother.
One day when Muse A is in her family’s garden she spies an intruder. She takes a few small stones and throws one of them at the intruder’s back to get their attention. When the intruder turns around he sees Muse A. Muse A is now at the age 16.
The intruder is Muse B heir to the neighboring kingdom having been riding by when he smelled the fragrance of roses. He is surprised to see Muse A with stones in her hands. Muse A has been trained as a male since she was 5 to defend herself against some sort of trick that her stepmother may one day employ. Muse A and B talk and she convincing him to leave before it is too late.
Later that day the Queen asks her mirror to tell her who is fairest when the mirror replies that Muse A is the fairest in the land. Outraged the Queen sends for a huntsman and orders him to kill the young Princess. And to make sure that the huntsman doesn’t fail she gives him a box to put her heart in.
The huntsman takes Muse A to a field of flowers under the guise that she will decorate her room with many of them. When he feels that no one is looking he stalks over to her with the intent to kill her. Muse A seeing this begs to be spared.Unable to harm his true mistress the huntsman tells her to flee or else she will be killed by the Queen.
Muse A does as she is told and flees into the forest until she can run no longer. Then she spies a house in the forest clearing and goes inside. Tired after so long of running she falls alseep across four beds not knowing who the beds or even the house belongs to.
The owners of the house come back home from working in the mines. They are seven dwarves. They are surprised to see Muse A sleeping in their beds. After waking up Muse A explains her plight and they agree to let her stay. She cleans and cooks for them each day. And each day they tell her to be be careful before going to work.
The Queen goes to her mirror one day and asks it to tell her who the fairest of the land is thinking that Muse A is dead. When her belief is prove false the Queen takes matters in two her own hands. Two out of the three times to goes to the house where Muse A lives in different disguises. The first time she tried to kill her by asphyxiation through laces for her dress. That failed when the dwarves came home and cut the ties. The second time was with a poisoned comb. That failed as well when the dwarves took out the comb from her hair.
The final time was with a poisoned apple. Though only half of it was actually poisoned. When Muse A took a bite of the poisoned half she fell down as if dead. The Queen was content. When the dwarves vame back they tired to wake her but failed. So they built her a coffin made out of glass and gold but were unable to bury her so they stood watch over her for several years.
Muse B heard of the maiden in the glass and gold coffin and wondered if it was the same woman that had thrown stones at him so many years ago. When he finds her he asks the dwarves to lift the glass top. He kisses Muse A and she awakens. He takes her to his kingdom where he is now king and marries her.
The Queen goes to the royal celebration and finds that her curse ove Muse A has been broken. In a fit of rage she curses new royal couple: any child born to the couple will experience what Muse A did when she bit into the apple and not even true love’s kiss can break this spell.
Desperate to find a way to end the curse and ensure the royal family’s survival Muse A and B decide that killing the Queen is the only way to break the spell. Kill the caster and the spell breaks but the journey is frought with peril especially for Muse A who finds out she is pregnant with their first child. Will Muses A and B kill the Queen or will the evil curse placed upon their children destroy their future happiness and the future of the kingdom?

"No, though honestly I did want to see the look on your face if I did do it." she said removing her hand.
"Glad to know I was toyed with to sate you curiosity."
“Elijah you were not toyed with. Toyed with would be getting you already to go and backing out. You know i am not like that. You are alowed to get me back in anyway you feel necessary. Because while yes I did want to see the look on your face I also wanted to see you have allowed me to make it up to you in any way you saw fit. I still care about you very much Elijah.” Tatia swallowed hard and licked her lips. “I did not love Niklaus in the same way I love you. He was more like a brother to me. You were and are still the one I want.”
"as the years passed, he fell into despair, and lost all hope
